WHAT IS MARRIAGE?

According to Law, marriage is the union of a man with a woman and a woman with a man to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life".

WHEN CAN YOU BE MARRIED?

Any time -

  • Sunrise
  • Sunset
  • And anywhere in between

Any day (except Christmas Day and Good Friday)

  • Week-ends
  • Week days

WHERE CAN YOU BE MARRIED?

As your celebrant I am willing and able to perform your marriage ceremony in any location you choose. This may include -

  • Beach
  • Parks or Botanical Gardens
  • Reception venue
  • Hall
  • Pleasure boat
  • Family home or anywhere you choose to marry.

I am prepared to travel to -

  • Anywhere in the greater Brisbane area
  • Sunshine
  • Gold Coast
  • Toowoomba and anywhere in between

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • A Notice of Intention to Marry must be lodged with me at least one month and one day before your wedding date, and at the most 18 months from your wedding date.
  • I will need to sight your original Birth Certificates.
  • I will need to sight evidence of the finalization of previous marriages, either a decree absolute if divorced or a death certificate if widowed.
  • It is a requirement of the law that you both are over 18 years of age. Your witnesses must also be over 18 years

Your wedding day is a wonderful occasion which can be made even more enjoyable knowing that your ceremony is personally and professionally arranged around you. My aim is to work with you to create a wedding ceremony that reflects your values and personalities. The ceremony should be something you both enjoy, not all formal that you don't remember a word that you said, but something that you can say was the best day ever, not only for you, but everyone that came to celebrate your day.
